PALDAP is A Lazy Directory Administrator's PAL. It's also a recursive acronym. That's a thing that appeals to nerds. Certain type of nerds, such as Richard Stallman. And me, apparently. Me is BigSmoke. I started this wiki, because I'm a lazy sod. So should you. But you're probably very enterprisey (directories are very enterprisey). Enterprisey people don't like to be called lazy. They think that they'll get whipped when somebody notices. I noticed it though. You wouldn't have come here otherwise. You would've just written your own protocol stack and license it to your private enterprise. But, you're lazy and you've come to the right place.

This place is a wiki. That means that most of the editing hasn't been done by you. And that's a good thing (since we've already established that you're lazy). Also, it means that you can spend the time that this saves you on very important enterprisey stuff.

Of course, since all this wiki's users are as lazy as you and me, you'll often find something missing. The idea here is that you can add anything you find missing because it'll save you time in the future. Another excellent reason to do this is that it'll make me money, because the more complete this website is, the more visitors it'll attract, among whom there'll hopefully be some who are sufficiently distracted to click on the annoying ads that I littered all around the place.
